I love to travel and experience new places, cultures and love. I feel like I do my best work when I have never been somewhere before as everything is fresh, inspiring and new.

Whilst most of my work is around the Central Coast, Hunter Valley, Sydney and Newcastle, I have travelled both interstate and internationally to document peoples’ stories and I’d be honoured to be a part of yours!

There are no travel fees for destinations within 1.5 hours of my base on the NSW Central Coast, so this includes most of Greater Sydney, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley.

For travel outside of this area it becomes necessary for me to find accommodation to stay the night of your wedding and the night prior, to ensure I am fresh and alert for the whole of your big day.

Once I know your location I will be able to give you a quote based on those accommodation costs and any additional expenses, such as flights, etc.

I will confirm this overall fee before officially booking.

After being a part of hundreds of celebrations I believe there are a few things that can really help you have both the best day and the best photos because of it…

First off, this is your day. Stay true to who you both are and what you actually want from your celebration. Don’t feel pressured to do what you think other people want you to or cram things in that aren’t important to you. The more relaxed you are on the day and the more it ‘feels right’ the more you’ll enjoy it and treasure the memories you create.

Secondly, think about the light! Put simply, the better the light, the better the photos are going to be and the better you look in them. Now, don’t let that cause you stress, that is what I am here for. I have experience shooting in many different locations and lighting scenarios, I know what I am doing and will constantly be looking for the best light to capture you in. However, giving consideration to the best light of the day (generally just before sunset) when creating your timeline will help me get the best results possible for you. I’m here to help.

Less is often more. When you are getting ready in the morning, try to arrange it so the space isn’t too cluttered. A clean tidy space is nicer for both photos and for your headspace. Artificial ceiling lights are the worst for beautiful portraits, so position yourself near a window or somewhere with natural light for your hair and make-up.

Lastly, don’t try to do everything. You might have heard about cool things other people have done but remember the above saying. Less is more. Pick the ideas that mean the very most to you and keep it simple. You’ll be surprised how quickly everything goes by on the day and allowing yourself the time to really take it in and enjoy other people’s company will make the memories so much better!!

All I need to secure your wedding date is a signed contract and payment of a non-refundable 25% booking fee.

The remaining balance of your package is due two weeks prior to your wedding but this can be paid off in installments if you prefer.

If your Wedding involves travel then the fees for this part of the package will be due within a month of booking in order to secure flights and accommodation as early as possible.

I hear this all the time and you certainly aren’t alone in feeling this way. Many of my couples tell me they either hate having their photo taken or that they never look good in photos.

It is my job to make you relax and allow you to have fun. Once you start to let those barriers down and just be yourself with your partner, you’d be surprised how easy it all becomes. The way I often work is to find a great location and let you explore it together. I might direct a little here and there but my aim is to capture those moments where you are not paying attention to what I am doing and can lose yourselves in each other’s attention.

If you need to reschedule your wedding date and we can find a date that we both have available then the booking will simply be transferred over to the new date along with your booking fee.

If the date needs to be rescheduled due to a Government Directive, such as a Covid-19 Lockdown, and I am not available for your new date then your booking fee will also be refunded.
